How much support is available through the SME Packages – Digital?

The SME Packages programme is a state-run entrepreneurial performance programme funded by the Ministry of the Economy at 70% of eligible costs, which must be between €3,000 and €25,000 excluding VAT. The House of Entrepreneurship and the Chambre des Métiers are the only official contact points for the procedure, the eligibility conditions and the application checklist via MyGuichet.lu. A €25,000 (excl. VAT) project qualifies for maximum aid of €17,500.

Minor changes are possible without problems. For any substantial change (budget, service provider, scope of the project), prior validation by the Ministry of the Economy is necessary. It is therefore crucial to define your project well from the start with Vmerci.lu and the House of Entrepreuneurship or the Chamber of Crafts to avoid complications.

What types of projects are eligible for SME Packages?

Eligible projects: websites (showcase, e-commerce, marketplace), SEO and GEO, Google Ads campaigns, marketing automation, ERP and CRM, AI solutions and AI agents, electronic invoicing, business software, smart cash registers, web applications. Excluded: personal blogs, non-commercial projects.

What are the administrative procedures for this aid?

7 steps over 4-6 months: 1) Project evaluation, 2) Free mandatory pre-analysis, 3) Service provider estimate, 4) File constitution, 5) Ministry validation (4-6 weeks), 6) Implementation (2-6 months), 7) Assistance payment. The House of Entrepreneurship and the Chambre des Métiers remain your official contacts for the procedure; vmerci.lu delivers the service and helps you prepare your application.

Can AI projects be included in the request for help?

Yes, absolutely! AI projects are fully eligible under the SME Packages Digital: custom AI agents, chatbots, marketing automation, predictive analytics, tailored artificial intelligence solutions. You can get up to 70% funding (max €17,500) for your AI transformation.

Conditions to be eligible for €17,500 support?

3 mandatory conditions: 1) Luxembourg establishment authorization, 2) SME status (<250 employees AND CA<50M€ or balance<43M€), 3) Head office in Luxembourg. Minimum budget: €3,000 excluding VAT. Excluded sectors: supermarkets >400m², transport, traditional finance, some liberal professions.
